Winter Bluegrass Jubilee is a fundraiser for YAM ~ Young Appalachian Musicians. YAM teaches over 300 kids yearly how to play traditional Southern Appalachian Music by ear on the banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and guitar utilizing traditional pickers from our area as instructors. The funds raised from this event help kids on free and reduced lunch to have 20 lessons per year in an after-school music program, attend a week long summer camp, and participate in performances at this event and at a KidsFest event in the Spring.
